THESIS

CONCEPT:

I am very fond of the culture, and always have the curiosity to know about the particular culture and gain knowledge about it. How do I gain interest in the culture? In the very first year of my design college planned a “heritage walk” of the old Nashik, where Ar. Amol Deshmukh sir gave us a walk while explaining the essence of Nasik. Because of that, I gained a lot of interest in the old city.
Where I also used to live with my grandparents, so because of that emotional attachment is still there in the old city.
But now I can see so many changes, no maintaining the WADA’s, old lane, the Godavari river. No one has that importance now. So many WADA’s are being deconstructed and constructed into a new bungalow.
Because of this, the essence of Nasik is going down day by day.
So I thought to design a café for people who know the old city and who don’t know. Where the old people also miss that era that is going down. So my motto is to create that same experience in the café. Where people will feel that we are in old Nasik only.

DESIGN BRIEF :

There are different café that serves different food in different surrounding, continuing I get a chance to serve people a different ambiance as well as food on each floor.
Where I will create the food culture in the café, where the national & international people will enjoy the food culture. Vise versa, the elements will be shown through my design.
